Following another enjoyable concert last month at Hagley Retirement Village, on Saturday, 14th, October BIMVC were back at Holy Name, Great Barr, where we had a warm welcome from an appreciative audience.
The choir opened the concert with When I’m Sixty Four and finished with a firm favourite, American Trilogy. James Carswell, Dave Ward, Jim Saunders and Steve O’Malley were our musical soloists, while Jim Banister
added a note of hilarity to the evening with his comic turn. Clare Ray added her touch of magic to the choir’s singing with her expert drumming accompaniment while Steve Roche and Chris Walk played a masterful duet on the keyboard, always
a welcomed addition to our concert programme.
We would like to thank Brother John for his kind words of thanks and also to Angela and her team of helpers for providing refreshments during the break.
We look forward to welcoming you to our next concert at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Maryvale, Old Oscott Hill on Saturday, 25th November, at 7.30pm
